Reconnect with Your Resilient Self
Mindful therapy for the complexities of mid-life in Portland, Oregon
When You’re Carrying…
The quiet ache of grief that comes with so many midlife changes such as aging parents, children growing up, or roles that no longer fit
A lifetime of relationships and responsibilities that have left you questioning where you belong in it all
Loneliness, even when surrounded by people who depend on you
The exhaustion of holding everything together while feeling unseen or depleted
A body that reflects the weight of it all through tension, sleeplessness, or unease
You May Be Longing For…
A space where you can pause and feel supported without having to be the strong one
Relief from the constant undercurrent of worry, sadness, or self-doubt
The ability to trust your own rhythms as your body and emotions shift through perimenopause and beyond
A renewed sense of connection to yourself, to others, and to the present moment
Gentle ways of tending to what hurts while allowing space for growth, pleasure, and hope
Approach
Hi, I’m Hilary Foreman (They/She).
I believe we are shaped by our connections, past and present, and that healing happens in relationship. In our work together, we will create a space where you can be fully yourself, met with curiosity, compassion, and respect.
My approach is integrative and relational, blending self-compassion, mindfulness and somatic practices. I pay close attention to the mind–body connection, inviting awareness of your body, breath, and emotions as you share present-moment insights that can reveal deep truths about your needs, beliefs, and patterns.
I welcome people of all identities and lived experiences. My practice is LGBTQIA+ affirming, neurodivergence-friendly, culturally sensitive, and trauma-informed.
I provide therapy services as a professional counselor associate (#R11098) under the supervision of Dr. Jessica Thomas, PhD, LMFT.

Perimenopause & Life Transitions Therapy
Times of change, whether through career shifts, parenting transitions, or the physical and emotional storms of perimenopause, can leave you feeling unmoored. Therapy offers space to pause, reflect, and meet these shifts with self-compassion and resilience.
You can expect our work will be:
Relational: Built on trust, presence, and the safety of being truly seen.
Trauma-informed: Respecting the pace your body and heart can hold, never pushing past what feels safe.
Somatic: Attuning to how grief and trauma live in your body, helping you release, soften, and reconnect.
Mindful & Compassionate: Practicing awareness, breath, and gentle curiosity instead of judgment.
Through this, we’ll walk side by side as you learn to carry your grief with tenderness, reweave trust in relationships, and rediscover the parts of yourself that long for belonging and peace.
