Approach

Hi, I’m Hilary Foreman (They/She).

My approach weaves mindfulness, self compassion, and somatic practices in a relational and collaborative way. We gently explore what is happening in your body, breath, and emotional experience, allowing present moment awareness to reveal insight into your needs, beliefs, and long standing patterns. Rather than pushing for change, we listen for what is ready to unfold.

I welcome people of all identities and lived experiences. This is an LGBTQIA+ affirming, neurodivergence friendly, culturally responsive, and trauma informed practice. I offer anxiety therapy and support for grief and life transitions in a way that honors both your mind and your body.

I provide therapy services as a professional counselor associate (#R11098) under the supervision of Dr. Jessica Thomas, PhD, LMFT.

About Me

Services

  • Individual Therapy Sunset visual

    Anxiety Therapy

Individual therapy offers a space to better understand yourself in connection with others. If you are feeling anxious, stuck in old patterns, or carrying the weight of people pleasing and overthinking, this is a place to explore new possibilities with compassion and clarity.

  • Grief Therapy Waves at sunset image

    Grief Therapy

In grief therapy, we’ll create a gentle space together where you can honor your loss in a way that feels true to you. I’ll walk alongside you, offering steadiness and care as you reflect, make meaning, and find your own way of carrying what you’ve lost.

  • Perimenopause therapy sunset image with clouds

    Perimenopause & Life Transitions Therapy

Times of change, whether through career shifts, parenting transitions, or the physical and emotional storms of perimenopause, can leave you feeling unmoored. Therapy offers space to pause, reflect, and meet these shifts with self-compassion and resilience.

You can expect our work will be:

  • Client-centered
Rooted in trust, presence, and the safety of being seen and heard.

  • Trauma-informed
Honoring the pace your body and emotions can hold, without pushing past what feels safe or ready.

  • Somatic
Gently noticing how anxiety, grief, and past experiences live in your body, and supporting reconnection, softening, and release over time.

  • Mindful and compassionate
Practicing awareness, breath, and curiosity with kindness rather than judgment.

Through this work, we move side by side as you learn to meet grief with tenderness, relate to anxiety in new ways, and reconnect with parts of yourself that long for ease, belonging, and peace.
